Testimonies

These are a few recent testimonies.

  • When I came to CCC, I felt that God would not want to know me because of my sinful past but no one judged me, instead I was accepted and loved and this enabled me to come back to God and fully know my salvation through Jesus.

  • At CCC there is acceptance without judgement or condemnation and unconditional love and support.

When my husband left me 4 years ago, I felt the reality of absolute heartbreak. I was uncontrollably sad, fearful of the future and so alone. I prayed for God to bring him back, make him change his mind. It didn't happen. I didn't know that 10 miles away there was a lovely man going through the same thing as me and God would be bringing us together. God's plans were perfect. I now have a wonderful new husband and I know a happiness and contentment that I never thought possible. I learned that when God doesn't seem to answer our prayers it is because He knows the future and has better plans for us. I have learned to trust God for my life.

  • I love CCC because as soon as you walk through the door, there is someone to greet you, who makes you feel welcome every time, whether you’ve come for a visit or you’ve been there years.

CCC has a unique ability to make people welcome that I haven’t seen anywhere else. In short, we’re good at hospitality.

Jesus is my Healer. Picture a life riddled with pain, not nice at all. Now picture someone praying for you to be healed in Jesus’ Name. Lastly, now picture my life as it is now, pain free. People from CCC did this for me. People prayed when I could not, and I was healed because Jesus loved me enough to do this for me.

The pain was spinal, but my healing from that pain is final. As Jesus says, ‘It is finished’

  • Hi my name is Linda. I came to CCC 3 years ago. What struck me was the welcome I received and 3 years on I can truly say that I have a loving extended family in this Church. Our desire as a Church is to reach those around us, to share God's love with them. The ministry in word is always Bible based and really challenging to us all in our own individual ways, and the worship is modern and exciting. Linda P

  •  My wife was ill with cancer for over two years until she passed away this year. During that time the CCC family demonstrated God’s love in their encouragement, prayer support and daily practical help. So much did they reflect Jesus’ teaching that I became a member of the church and was baptised last year … at the ripe old age of 51 ! The best thing I ever did !

  • Manuel and I have been attending C.C.C. for about 2 years now, and find it very helpful. In our way of thinking in a day to day life, the community church and the ministry team are the most understanding people you could wish for. They take time to listen and now we reguard them as our second family.
