I welcome you to the Chelmsford Community Church web site. My name is Peter Balls and I Pastor the church, and have been involved in its leadership for the past 12 years.
I am passionate about people and want everyone to reach fulfilment in their Christian walk. This is reflected in our Vision Statement which reads ‘Building a strong, healthy, vibrant church and reaching out to the community’.

The church is the people in it, and I want for everyone to be strong in faith, healthy in their Christian lifestyle and vibrant and full of life. God wants us to enjoy Him and to enjoy all that He has provided for us.

We have a worship band and singers. We speak out Bible verses and prayers. We preach life changing messages that offer an ‘how to’ rather than a ‘you should’ message. The Holy Spirit brings life to our services. We rely on the fact that Jesus Christ is the head over His church.
