Peter and Linda

Peter and Linda have been leading the church since 1999. In this time, the church has evolved to become much more purpose focused. We are building a strong family of believers, but we all realise that it is not about us, it is all about Jesus.

We believe that we are in a season of seeing more power of God. He is releasing more power to save and heal.

Pastors for Overseas Development:

Steve and Kathe

Steve and Kathe joined CCC when they moved to Chelmsford in 1991. They have two grown children, Bronwen and David, of whom they are inordinately proud. Steve also has an odd affinity for Hull City Football Club and pigs!

As Pastors for Overseas Mission they seek to build on our existing links with a church in the Ukraine and seek to develop links elsewhere. They have visited both India and Africa.

They strongly believe in the importance of exposure to the Body of Christ in other countries and cultures. They also believe that for any expression of God's kingdom to be valid, it has to reach out to all parts of society, especially those in greatest need.

At home in the church they are both involved in the preaching team and have a special responsibility for developing the small groups ministry.

Pastor Support Team:

Charm, Les, Paul and Chris

The Pastor Support Team is the group that meets regularly with the Pastors to organise, administrate and manage the affairs of the church. Each individual fulfils one or more specific role(s), but as a team they work together to develop and pursue the vision for the church.

Charm and Les - lead the youth activities within the church. Charm also heads up the puppet community and Les works as the church administrator.

Chris - is the musical director, a position which involves leading the worship team and overseeing most of the audio/visual equipment used in our services.

Paul - is a well-respected local businessman who oversees the church finances as Treasurer.
